Navasota, TX is one of those towns that you never seem to have time to explore because you're rushing to a more distant destination. However, Navasota has its own charm and offers some shops and artisans in its historic downtown district, typified by antique, gift, and junk stores housed in old classic stone and brick structures. Navasota retains a number of historic Victorian homes on Washington Avenue, the main residential and commercial thoroughfare through town.
